Kastenwagen von Massimiliano

This is our VAN and it's called Maui. It is a Mercedes Westfalia with a vintage charm but totally rebuilt with new materials in a modern style. The insulation was done in a workmanlike manner, which allows the vehicle to be used even in low temperatures. The kitchen is spacious and functional, equipped with a fridge, hob with two burners and sink. The bathroom is small in size but with everything you need, a shower with hot water and a chemical toilet (PortaPotti). There are four beds, a retractable double attic bed and a smaller one that is obtained from the sofa. The van was the protagonist of a social project, it traveled all over Italy in the wildest natural places, ending up in magazines and TV.
